On Saturday of the 22nd June, the Minister of Communications Science and Technology the Honourable Thesele Maseribane celebrated his birthday together with his 35 years of marriage with his wife Mrs Maretselisitsoe Maseribane at Quthing.
During the party when giving her remarks Mrs Maseribane said it has not been an easy road.
“I’m saying to those girls and women who thought I’ll leave him I’m not going anywhere. I’m here to stay” she emphasized.
Chief Maseribane reflected on his childhood and the rocky political journey. He recalled the times when he had to leave the country to seek refuge in other countries.
Then like any other man he met his wife and found a shoulder to lean on.
“Ours was not an easy marriage because my family had already chosen someone for me, while I loved Maretselisitsoe. It wasn’t easy because she was from the Congress family while I was from BNP” he recalled.
Chief Maseribane celebrated his 60 years of life and 35 years of marriage. The event was graced with a mass by the Catholic Church.
